Leadesnp and Far Teoma oA September 16, 2017 Thirty-Three Arrests After Demonstrations St. Louis, Mo. ~ Yesterday, officers made thirty-three arrests in various locations as demonstrators marched through the streets of St. Louis. Many of the demonstrators were peaceful, however after dark, the agitators outnumbered the peaceful demonstrators and the unruly crowd became a mob. St Louis, missouri 63103 (14) aed cos | \ y ae MEDIA ALERT METROPOLITAN POLICE DEPARTMENT ‘Serv, agey, Leacerenp, and Fs Treament AD September 16, 2017 Eleven Law Enforcement Officers Injured During Demonstrations St. Louis, Mo. ~ Yesterday, eleven law enforcement officers were injured after responding to various locations as demonstrators marched through the streets of St Louis. Nine St. Louis Metropolitan Police Officers, one St. Louis County Police Officer and one Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper suffered the following injuries: * St. Louis Police Officer (30-year old black male with over 3 years of service) hand injury — treated on scene by EMS * St. Louis Police Officer (51-year old white male with nearly 26 years of service) injuries to head and leg from bottles ~ refused treatment * St, Louis Police Officer (42-year old white male with nearly 14 years of service) injured after being knocked off bike — refused treatment * St, Louis Police Officer (37-year old white male with nearly 12 years of service) injured after being pinned on bike and assaulted — refused treatment * St Louis Police Officer (43-year old white male with over 11 years of service) injured by thrown brick, dislocated shoulder — conveyed to hospital © St. Louis Police Officer (26-year old white female with over 1 year of service) injured by thrown brick, broken jaw ~ conveyed to hospital + St. Louis Police Officer (25-year old black female with over 2 years of service) injured by thrown brick, head pain & dizziness — conveyed to hospital ‘* St. Louis Police Officer (29-year old white male with nearly 6 years of service) injured by thrown brick, facial injuries - conveyed to hospital * St. Louis Police Officer (53-year old white male with over 25 years of service) injured by thrown bottle, head injury — conveyed to hospital * St. Louis County Police Officer — (32-year old white male with 9 years of service) injured by thrown rock, leg injury — treated on scene * Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper (38-year old white male with 14 years of service) —hand injury — treated on scene PUBLIC INFORMATION DIVISION. 4815 ove ‘St Loui, Missour 63102 (14) 4448600 eee MEDIA ALERT METROPOLITAN POLICE DEPARTMENT ‘Seeves, ney Leader, and Fe Teese! September 16, 2017 Property Damaged During Demonstrations St. Louis, Mo. ~ Yesterday, property damage occurred in various locations as demonstrators marched through the streets of St. Louis. The following is a list of incidents that have been reported to us at this time: A police Tahoe sustained damage to the hood and a shattered front windshield near 1200 Clark. An additional police vehicle sustained damage to its windows from items being thrown near Lake and Waterman. Windows at Mayor Krewson’s house, near Lake and Waterman, were broken and there was paint thrown on the exterior of the home. Subway, 115 N Euclid, sustained a shattered front plate glass window. ‘Walgreens, 115 N Eucild, sustained damage to windows. BBQ Saloon, 4900 Laclede, sustained damage to two large, store front windows, Evangeline's Bistro, 512 N Euclid, sustained damage to a front window. Fauxgerty, 228 N Eculid, sustained a damaged front window East + West, 387 N Euclid, sustained damage to windows. Citizen’s Park Properties, 4643 Lindell, sustained damage to windows. St. Louis Public Library, 225 N Euclid, sustained damage to multiple glass windows and doors. Golden Grocer Natural Foods, 335 N Euclid, sustained property damage. Culpeppers, 300 N Eucild, sustained damage to windows. ‘Numerous vehicles in the area also sustained broken windows. Officers responded along with the Fire Department to a total of 18 fires.
