Activity 1. Answer: The purpose of operation plan is to prepare the detailed document and outline to derive the organisations strategic goal to be achieved. To say this, action plan, an annual plan, a management plan or tactical plan can be known as operation plan. In addition, the operational plan outlines what action team or individuals within the organisation will take to achieves and will outline any major project identified for the relevant time period. Also, it may forecast action for the coming time in longer period. As mentioned above, there are some reasons to show that operation plan is unlike the strategic plan. The outline of the strategic plan provides a high level outline of the organisations mission, general direction and broad goals. It has shown that the operational plan is more concentrate, detailed document that outlines how the organizations strategic goals will be achieved in practice.
