Dear Mr. Dubowy,

Thank you for your effort to meet with me at the Alameda Court, outside
Department 513, earher today.

Per your request, I am attaching a copy of the media request I filed in the
county in the matter oiMoulton v. Laycock, Case #11573454. A copy of that
request and the associated emails are hereto attached as Exhibit 1. Piu*suant
to Cahfornia Rules of Court, rule 1.150, the media request was submitted
timelyon September 17, 2017.

After receiving no response, I emailed the court again to inquire about the
request. Late on September 25, 2017 I was informed by a Ms. Elana
Brookens, Executive Assistant, that my request had been denied and the filed
order could be obtained by contacting the courtroom clerk in Department 513.

I have been a member of the media and associated with the press for nearly
30 years. I have education, experience and training and am aware that a
number of irregularities often exist where these media requests are made,
especially in family law matters where a judge and court staff may not have
ever received such a request. However, I have never been harassed,
retaliated against, mistreated or threatened after making a request, as I was
in this instance.

This letter is intended to serve as a formal complaint to the court against the
court employee who identified herself to me as Michelle Silva.

The following are the events as I recall them. I believe the covirt security
