Narrative of Offense Committed
On or about the above stated date and time, the Defendant did
knowingly resist or obstruct ___, known to be a peace officer, emergency medical care provider or fire fighter, or a person performing bailiff
duties pursuant to section 602.1303, subsection 4 in the performance of his or her lawful duty
AFFIDAVIT
STATE OF IOWA, SAC COUNTY
I, the undersigned, being duly sworn, state that all facts contained in this Complaint and Affidavit, known by me or told to me by other reliable persons form the basis for my
belief that the defendant committed this crime
State all facts and persons relied upon supporting elements of alleged crime
On September 19, 2017 at approximately 2357hrs I was notified of an individual who had active Warrants out of Buena Vista County. The Subject was
said to be hiding at 406 Walnut St, Early, IA. Upon arrival I made contact with the resident who said the subject was hiding at an abandon house on the
corner of Walnut and 3rd st. Deputy Ladwig and I entered the unoccupied residence and announced ourselves as law enforcement and asked for the
defendant to come out. The defendant did not answer and did not comply with our request. The defendant was located in a room and appeared to be
hiding. When asked the defendant said he was running from the police because of the warrants and went into the house in order to hide. Upon further
investigation it was revealed a no contact order between the defendant and Lyndsi Elise Lufkin had been violated at 406 Walnut St.
