Based on the results of this study, we obtained the results of LBW with Asphyxia Neonatorum with 47 babies, whereas LBW weighing less than 1,500 grams was asphyxia as light as 0 infants (2.3%) and with severe asphyxia counted 4 infants (1.7%) while BBLR weighing 1,500 - 2,400 grams with mild asphyxia of 27 infants (24.7%) and with severe asphyxia of 16 infants (18.3%). Based on statistical result by using chi-square test, the result of significant value or pvalue value = 0,015 <0,05 hence with the result it can be concluded that there is a low birth weight infant relationship with asphyxia neonatorum at RSU Sundari Medan period januari 2016 - march 2017.
