Step 3: Fill in Mass Upload Template (Tab 3 Upload Template)

Mass Upload Excel Template

If there is a drop-down list, please select a value from it; otherwise, please fill in on your own
Values to fill in can be: text, number, single option, or multi-option
After choosing the deepest category, the columns will be marked with colored identifiers:
Red frame the attribute is mandatory
Blue frame the attribute is optional
Grey cell the attribute is not relevant to the deepest category chosen

Step 4: Upload the filled mass upload file

Before Upload: 2
Make sure every mandatory attribute is filled in
a correct format.
DO NOT delete or edit Tab 1, 2, 4 & 5.
Upload and Check Results:
1. Go to Seller Center > Add Products > Import
2. Choose Create New Products
3. Click Upload Files
4. Check Result: System will automatically jump 4 Number of SKUs processed
by system, NOT uploaded
All have been
uploaded successfully
to Import History tab. Check Status
Upload successful
Upload fail: Please Download Error
Report, revise accordingly and upload
again.

Check and Fill in SKU Attributes - 1

Check SKU attribute MY Seller Center Attributes List

Please check if the category of product
you want to list has any SKU attribute
before listing

Download MY Seller Center Attributes List
Choose SKU attributes under AttributeType

Fill in SKU attribute

If the category of product you want to list has SKU Mass Upload Excel Template
attribute:
Please fill in the same SellerSKU under
AssociatedSku (e.g. the SellerSKU of smallest size)
For the products with variations, all the fields should
be the same, except for price, stock, images (SKUs
with color variation excluded) and SellerSKU.

Mass Upload Product Images

Product images
(Optional during the mass upload process. However,
products without images will not queue for QC)
Seller Center > Manage Images > Drag & drop the images
Seller may mass upload contents without images,
and manually add images in SC later
If you have product images as URLs, you may
mass upload them
e.g. http://www.xxx.com.jpg

Leave them as blank if you dont have any product

image URL, or remove the entire columns
Invalid image URL, or incorrect image size will Mass upload template
cause a mass upload error
Main Image will be the primary image of the SKU

Hazmat Attribute

For Custom and Logistic purposes, we encourage sellers to backfill

"Hazmat" attribute when creating new SKUs in MY Seller Center.
It is important to fill in the correct attributes value.

Valid values are as per below:

1- Battery: Any product that includes a battery (built-in or not).
Eg: Camera, Phones, Watches, Juicer, drone etc.

2- Liquid: Any product that contains liquid, no matter the volume.

Eg: fragrance

3- Flammable: Any product that contains alcohol or any other

flammable material
Eg: thermometer, concentrated bleach etc.

4- None: the item has no battery, no liquid and no flammable material

EG: Clothing, Home accessories, Shoes

Export a CSV file directly from Seller Center

Export the existing product info as CSV files directly from Seller Center and mass update product information
using the csv file
Keep SellerSku column and the columns to be amended and remove the rest of the columns
Make sure the product info has correct format and contents that follow Lazada content guidelines.
Incorrect settings/format may cause wrong information update / failed upload.

Text Import Setting

Use Open Office for CSV File

Open the template with OpenOffice (free program), not Excel.
Download OpenOffice and choose your own language

Text Import Settings

Character set: Unicode (UTF-8)
Separator: Semicolon
Note:
If the file can not be opened normally, please choose Tab
or/and Comma. (It just happened when it has semicolon within
product description)
Always select Semicolon when saving the document, Follow
Save File Guideline

Category Update Example

I. Export CSV File by Category

II. Download the most updated Category Tree from MY Seller Center
III. Delete the columns that are no need to change, only keep the columns
shows left
IV. Must keep SellerSku and PrimaryCategory columns
V. Search for the correct Category ID and replace the old info
VI. Keep the current format (.csv) when saving the file

Note: Whichever column you are updating, keep SellerSku column

1 Click Save As
1 Choose Edit filter settings

2 Click Keep Current Format

3 Select Unicode(UTF-8) under Character set

Select Semicolon under Field delimiter
Click OK to finish saving
