What is it? If you're new to the Parish, this is a brief description of what Food Fair is about.
Please read the bulletin every week up to Food Fair. It is the biggest fund raising event of the
parish when all nationalities of our parish get together to raise funds for needy people around
the world. From last years Food Fair 40,000 was paid out to over 22 charities.

We need your help to make this another successful event!

The FF Committee says a big Thank You to the Old Hands (and even some very Young Hands) who have already
signed up to be part of our great annual charity extravaganza! The Spanish Booth will be back again with tasty
paella run by new volunteers. Also, we have new people to run the USA Booth. Marike and Sarah have
volunteered to run the Face Painting Booth and are looking for arty volunteers to help man the booth during
the day. Harry is back with his books.
We are in need of someone to run the British Booth, so that we can serve real tea and cakes!

Vacancies! As always in our revolving community, some folk have moved on since last year.
- If you're organised, bring your methodical talents to the Set-up / Take Down crew.
- Are you fearless and trained in self-defence techniques? Then the Kids Bazaar is the place for you. Contact
Capt. Nigel and let him know your body armour size. Counselling is available. For those of a weaker
disposition, help is also needed in the general Bazaar!
- You don't need to be like Usain Bolt to be one of the Supply Runners who keeps the booths ticking over. If
you feel athletic, that's good enough for us.
- We need doctors and nurses to be available on the day, just in case.

Help needed!
- As always, the famous FOOD FAIR Raffle will have dozens of great prizes, but we're still accepting prize
donations. Gift vouchers are especially welcome. If you can assist, kindly call our Co-ordinator Derick.
- There's a solitary bottle sitting on the bottom shelf of the 100-bottle Wine Rack. It needs friends. If you're a
wine-lover, kindly bring a contribution to the Lonely Wine Bottle Club, c/o the FOOD FAIR table at the back of
the church.
Talking of bottles, our Tombola Booth would appreciate donations filled of course! This can be shampoo or
champagne, Pouilly Fume or peas, the list is endless.

Can't be there on the Big Day? If you'll be away, you can support your national booth via a cash donation to
the FOOD FAIR account no. NL34 ABNA 0599346264 mentioning the Booth name or Food Fair.

Our new poster is available at the Food Fair Table in three sizes. Please take some and put up at your place
of work, local shops, etc. While you are there, please volunteer to help on the day for one or two
hours.

Its a worldwide event! The 90+ nations in our Parish coming together to have fun in a good cause. When
you volunteer your time, hand over your money or send a donation to any charity, you hope all the benefit will
go directly to the cause you're supporting. We guarantee that 100% of our funds after expenses go to our
carefully chosen projects sponsored by you the parishioners!

Over the last 40 years FOOD FAIR has paid out over 1.5 million to vital charitable projects in desperately poor
areas. Please help us maintain this fantastic record of this great event in 2017!
