A. Here are the numbers of students in nine different classrooms. Work out:
i. the mode
ii. the range
iii. the median

largest set : 24 , smallest set : 17
range : 24 17 = 7

= (18 + 19) / 2
= 19

B. Myara and Nick both drive to work.
They record the times their journeys take for a number of days.
Here are their results. The times are in minutes.

i. Work out the mean journey times.


ii. Work out the range of the times for each person.
iii. State two facts about Myras journey times, compared to Nicks.

A. Calculate the percentage of shaded area in the diagram below.

B. Cas Peanut Butter is sold in 250g. Each jar contains 135g of peanuts.
Cis Peanut Butter is sold in 400g jars. Each jar contains 248g of peanuts.
Which brand has greater percentage of peanuts ?

Cis Peanut Butter


(248 / 400) x 100 = 62 %

Cis Peanut Butter has greater percentage of peanuts with the different of 8 %.
