Prerequisites: Building construction and drawing.

Course Objectives:
The course aims at enabling the students to :

1. Prepare the detailed drawings of RCC structures incorporating design details.

2. Prepare the detailed drawings of steel structures showing connectivity of various
structural components.

Course Outcome :

At the end of the course, the students shall be able to

1. State the necessity of detailed drawings.

2. Explain the purpose of reinforcement for concrete structures.
3. Classify the structures into axially and laterally loaded and explain their behavior under
loaded conditions.
4. Prepare detailed drawings of various RCC structures and calculate the quantity of
reinforcement.
5. Explain different types of joints in steel structures.
6. Prepare detailed drawings of steel structures to reveal the details of connectivity.
