1. read short sentences and read story of Sara

Success Criteria Pupils are successful if they are able to


1. Read short sentences related Sara making scrapbook
2. Complete sentences by fill in the blanks using suitable words
3. Demonstrate understanding by reading appropriate sentences
ACTIVITIES
Activity 1. Teacher show a sample picture of a scrapbook
2. Teacher asks the pupils to do a silent reading
3. Teacher read aloud the story and the pupils need to repeat
after the teacher
4. Teacher asks the pupils to work in groups and fill in the blanks to
form complete sentences
5. In groups, students were required to read their completed work
6. Teacher distributes mind map layout and asks the students to
complete the mind map with the correct sentence strips
7. Teacher asks the pupils what they learnt and how they can
apply the lesson in their daily life.

2 Match the description of sea creature with the picture
3 Read short story related the deep blue ocean

Activity 1 Teacher asks the students to refer to their textbook and read
aloud a short passage
2 Teacher introduces new words that the students are not familiar
with.
3 Teacher asks the students to read in groups and try to guess the
sea creature
4 In groups, students were required to match the description of
sea creature to the correct pictures provided
5 Teacher introduces a story entitled the deep blue ocean

Activity 10 Teacher shows a video related to cleanliness and asks the
students what the video is about

pupils to repeat after the teacher
12 Teacher ask for volunteers to read in front of the class
13 Teacher distributes pieces of pictures, students were required to
arrange the picture pieces according to the description
14 In groups, students were required to rearrange sentence strips
and paste it to form complete sentences
15 Teacher choose people randomly and ask the students to wash
their hands in front of the class
