TRANSFORMER Visual Inspection to be carried out at all Transformer parts and its control
MAINTENANCE
RESPONSIBILITIES circuits for Protection, Interlock, Feedback, RTCC panel, Alarm & Tripping
Contacts, Air Cooling systems, Oil Cooling systems.
Rectifying & solving the problems at the part in which we found as Improper or
damaged at the time of physical inspection.
Transformer Winding Resistance Test to be carried out during shutdown
Maintenance.
Transformer Insulation Resistance Test to be carried out during shutdown
Maintenance.
Transformer Ratio Test to be carried out at all Tap positions during shutdown
Maintenance.
Transformer Oil BDV Test (Breakdown Value) to be carried out during shutdown
Maintenance to ensure the Insulation level of transformer oil.
Transformer Oil Filtration & Purification should be done if the BDV Value of
the Oil comes down from the certain limit.
Checking the operation condition of Buchholz Relay and its both alarm and
Tripping circuits.
Checking the operation condition of Winding & Oil Temperature Gauge by
operating manually for both Alarm and Tripping circuits.
Checking the operation condition and circuits of On Load Tap Changer from
Remote, Local and Control room at OLTC tank and solving if there any problems
are observed.
Checking the operation condition and circuits of all Cooling fan motors and
Cooling oil pumps with the specified temperature setup.
Making Modifications and Changes in the circuits or device in which it is
necessary to do proper operation of the Transformer after shutdown maintenance.
