I personally prefer this layout because there
is nice fluent movement on the floor. As this
is the middle floor I expect that the stairs
would be used often, so in this way the
movement and the use of the kitchen would
not be obstructive to anyone.

Team use
The lounge layout can be easily converted to
meeting / presentation space. The lounge
chairs and the fixed base swivel chairs are
rotated towards the whiteboard/LCD screen.
The couple of extra foldable chairs provide
extra seating.
