LOOK FORWARD
Ukraine requires further studies in all hydrocarbon provinces
and other areas to identify the oil and gas distribution in
various geological structures and in the column therein.
Specifically, it has to be studied the stratigraphic and
tectonic controls, the host rock depth and composition, gas
shale properties and fracturing, evaluation of gas resources
and reserves, as well as economic viability to explore shale
gas targets and their further development and commercial
exploitation. All these activities are open for the foreign
investors nowadays.
