Green computing is the study and practice of efficient and eco-friendly computing resources. A
study of designing, manufacturing/engineering, usage and disposal of computing devices in a way that
reduces the environmental impact. It represents a responsible way to address the issue of global
warming which involves practices such as the implementation of energy-efficient PC, Blackle, IBM and its
Aquasar as well as reduced resource consumption and proper disposal of electronic waste (E-waste).
The term Green Computing refers to the use of energy wisely and efficiently. It is basically a balanced
and sustainable approach towards the achievement of a healthy and clean environment without
compromising the needs and necessities of technology for the present generation.

The article address an area of importance to the discipline such that Green computing is a
mindset that asks how we can satisfy the growing demand for network computing with
no or little impact on the environment, it also utilizes established scientific principles and exhibit
alignment within the study. The conceptual framework, design, methods, and analyses are
adequately developed, well integrated, and appropriate to the aims of the project; As a
result, businesses and consumers alike have started to embrace environmentally
sustainable products that offer low carbon solutions that can not only reduce
greenhouse gas emissions, but can do so by more efficient energy consumption and
lower costs. The idea of Green Computing are considered valuable to the larger scientific
community. It greatly gives emphasis on how significant the administration, m anagement and
implementation of energy certification, conserving, water-saving, and environmentally
friendly products. The scope of ideas cleverly interconnect science and technology.

The paper was well written and gave a good overview of the issue. It clearly emphasize the
significance of energy efficient computing practices. The usage of words, informations, facts and data
are logical and well-organized. It presents the concepts, methods, and objectives articulately which
enable ideas easy to understand. Overall, the paper effectively exhibit its content and function.

It is clear that the innovation of technology is slowly poisoning the environment. This grave threat
requires immediate attention. The increasing energy consumption and the worsening E-wastes and
Carbon dioxide emissions were depicted clearly in this article which promotes Green Computing as a
solution for environment sustainability. The article justified its significance with its key concern to reduce
the use of hazardous materials, maximize energy efficiency during the product's lifetime, and promote
the recyclability or biodegradability of defunct products and factory waste. It exposes the need of
societies to become more energy conscious and proves the possibility of creating fully recyclable
products, reducing pollution, proposing alternative technologies in various fields, and creating a center
of economic activity around technologies that benefit the environment. This article indeed showed
benefits which could bring a great impact in the society as it pushes both the government and the
corporate world to join hands to usher more in green computing to be able to build a green-globe and
to give awareness on how each person could save the environment to secure the world as a safe place
to live.
