Dhaka Overseas & Travels is a Recruiting Agency and Overseas Placement
Company of Bangladesh. It was established with the objectives of catering
to the crying needs to infuse ethical business practices, dynamism and vigor
into the overseas employment endeavors of Bangladesh. With these aims in
view, Dhaka Overseas & Travels secured a Recruiting Agency License from
the Ministry of Labor & Employment, Government of the People's Republic
of Bangladesh. The Company being fully aware of the humane factors and
social responsibilities including modern requirements of this trade, has
organized itself to meet with such requirements. Dhaka Overseas & Travels
is well-organized and properly oriented in manpower export trade.
Facilities have very carefully been built up and consolidated for
mobilization and selection of required number of different categories of
workers exactly as per the requirements of the overseas employers.

Bangladesh is trying hard to export its surplus workforce to get their

nationals productively employed. With vast reservoir of human resources
but otherwise significantly resource-constraints, manpower export assumes
special significance to Bangladesh for providing employment opportunities
to its millions of unemployed workers and at the same time to earn the
much needed foreign exchange for the rapid socio-economic development of
the country.

exportable surplus of professionals, technicians, skilled, semi-skilled and
unskilled workers. And Dhaka Overseas & Travels has become one of the

 RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE:
Demand letters (DL) and Power of Attorney (POA) are usually issued by the employer /
principal in favor of the recruiting agency. Dhaka Overseas & Travels duly endorsed/attested
by the Ministry concerned in that country and by the Bangladesh Embassy there. On receipt
of D/L and POA, Dhaka Overseas & Travels completes initial selection and recruitment and
obtains permission from our respective government department,
department, namely Bureau of
Manpower Employment Training (BMET ).

After obtaining permission, we pass through various stages where our office staff does their
respective jobs step by step, section wise. It is all a team work and the process continues
until final
final dispatch. After receiving the stamped visas from the embassy concerned. We
immediately make travel arrangement.

Travel Arrangement:

Care is taken to dispatch every worker to the job site by the first available flight keeping in
view the clients
clients urgency. The flight officer who is in charge of booking and ticketing makes
all such arrangements with the Airlines Office.

1. The Overseas client is contacted and given all information regarding the flight.
2. The workers are clearly briefed at a pre- pre-departure
departure orientation seminar where
attendance is compulsory. They are given all the information and warnings from A to Z.
3. We arrange a pre-
pre-reporting of all the dispatch able workers one day before the flight.
4. The workers on the scheduled flight day are taken to the airport by the flight officer
and his assistants who look after all the airport formalities until the plane takes off.

Required Documents for the Processing and Deployment of Workers:

1. A deed of agreement signed between the Employer/Principal and the recruiting

agency Dhaka Overseas & Travels with necessary terms and conditions favorable to
both the parties. This deed is necessary for Recruiting and Clearance Permission by
the Bureau of Manpower Employment and Training, Govt. of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh.
2. Power of Attorney (POA) typewritten on the letterhead of the employer, which states
that their company is appointing our company as their agency in Bangladesh for their
manpower requirements.
3. A consular letter enabling us to stamp and withdraw visas from the concerned Embassy in Dhaka.
4. Job Order or Demand letter (D/L) using the employers official letter head, describing
the number and type of workers they require with their corresponding salaries based
on BMET standard..
5. "Workers Employment Contract
Contract Forms" of the company.
6. "Photocopy" of the Employer company's "Commercial Registration" or "Business Registration".
7. One(1) photocopy of the passport or any identification card of the authorized
representative
representative of the employer's company.

Note : Document
Document Nos 2, 3 & 4 Must be "Certified" or authenticated by the concerned
ministry.
 Our Responsibilities:
Dhaka Overseas & Travels prefers selection of workers by the employer representative. For
this, Dhaka Overseas & Travels will extend all facilities to
to the employer including
arrangement of trade test, if require, for selection of technical people. Dhaka Overseas &
Travels may also be entrusted with this responsibility, who can ensure selection of the right
person for the right trade as per criteria given
given by the employer.

Dhaka Overseas & Travels Performs the following activities:

Obtain recruitment permission from the government agencies.

Advertisement in reputed daily newspaper calling applicants, if necessary.
Collection of application
Primary
Primary selection by our experts.
Conduct final interview by employers representatives.
Obtain passports for the selected candidates.
Medical Examination of the candidates.
Obtain police clearance.
Obtain medical fitness certificate, photographs
photographs and related documents.
Stamping of visa from the respective embassy.
Obtain emigration clearance from the government agency.
Travel arrangement including confirmation of seats with airlines.
Constant contact with the employer informing the development
development of the total arrangement.

Attend airport to ensure smooth boarding of the passengers.

Inform employer over fax / telephone / e- e-mail about the actual number of workers
dispatched/boarded finally.
Arrangement of proper and timely replacement
replacement of worker, if anyone is found
professionally or medically unfit within the probation period.

Ensure workers reach the country of work within 15-

15-20 days from the date of
receipt of their visa/visa advice/calling from the employer, even earlier in case of emergency of employer.

Arrangement of flights in groups.

Proper briefing to the workers about the social, political, legal, cultural and
environmental aspects of the host country to boost up moral strength that helps in up
keeping the existing relationship
relationship between the countries.
Handover copy of employment contract to the workers before their departure
for the country of work.

Briefing of the workers about the actual terms of employment prior to their departure.

Attend employer's call to solve unforeseen problems that may arise within the full
contract duration.
