High pressure pump
high pressure pump of pressure greater than 3000psi will be used there
are two variants in pumps one with a built in motor in it and other with
a shaft to be rotated using electric motor usually or with an IC engine.
Pumps are available at ebay.com but they require a separate prime
mover.
Pumps are also available at Amazon.com having approximate prices
$110 and $120.
The prime mover can be either 7hp engine or 2hp motor having cost
Rs.10,000 and Rs.12,000 respectively.
Nozzle
Nozzle is used to create a high velocity jet and then after jet creation abrasive is added in jet
and abrasive particles are accelerated by jet and will perform cutting on striking with work
piece.
Orifice is available at Alibaba.com at $10 and remaining portion of nozzle can be
machined in machine tool lab.
The raw material costs Rs.3000 for manufacturing of remaining parts
of nozzle.

Stand
Stand will be manufactured by welding angle irons and sheet metals. It would cost
Catcher
Two types of catcher designs are available one with a mesh type surface and other with closely
spaced vertical sheets it is used to break the momentum of incoming jet and abrasives.
Stand and catcher both will cost Rs.10,000.
Filter
Filtering medium is required to separate abrasive material from water for recirculation of water.
Abrasive Hopper
Abrasive hopper is used to store and direct hopper towards the jet. Having cost

Motion Mechanism
Motion of nozzle is controlled by stepper motors and threaded bolts and nut type assembly will
be used. Stepper motor will be controlled by Arduino which will take motion coordinates from
g code.

Pressure gauge will be installed in water flow line to measure water pressure during
