VIRTUES OF THE LAST 10 DAYS

LAYLA-TUL-JAZAA
The Prophet (PBUH) is reported to have said,
whoever stands up in the night preceding the
two Eids expecting rewards from Allah, his heart
will not die when the other hearts will die.

LAYLA-TUL-QADR
seek it in the last ten, and if one of you is too
weak or unable then let him not allow that
to make him miss the final seven.

ITEKAF

The Prophet (PBUH) used to practice Itekaf in


the last ten days of Ramadan till he died. And
then his wives used to practice it after him.
the night of Al-Qadr is better than a thousand months.

1 NIGHT = 1000 MONTHS


ITEKAAF

Allahs Messenger (PBUH) used to


perform Itekaaf for ten days every
Ramadan, then when it was the year
in which he died, he performed
Itekaaf for twenty days.
Virtues of itekaaf:
1. Increases reward.
2. Protects from hell-fire.
3. Dual benefits.

LAYLA-TUL-JAZAA

It has been the practice of the Holy


Prophet (PBUH) that he would not sleep
in the night preceding the day of
Eid-ul-Fitr. This night has been named
Laila-tul-Jaza- the night of reward.

It means Allah bestows his reward to


those who have spent the month of
Ramadan abiding by the dictates of
Shariah, and all their prayers in
this night are accepted.
ZAKAT-UL-FITR

Allahs Messenger (PBUH)


made it the payment of one
Saa of dates or of barley
as Zakat-ul-Fitr on every He (PBUH) ordered that
