Guide Questions:

1. What is/are your reasons for choosing the job?

- Because the company offers good benefits (health card, clothing allowance,
medicine allowance, taxi allowance, shift allowance, etc) And it is related
to the course that I have taken in college. Also, theres so much to learn from
the job and youre always updated on the latest technology and It is one of the
highest paying jobs in the Philippines that makes you have a choice not to go
outside the country for better life.

2. What are the necessary to succeed in the job?

- Of course, a college degree first before anything else. Then Perseverance and
drive to push yourself further. It is a job where theres always a new
technology which means that if you want to stay on the business, youre
required to learn all of it. Theres always a new technology that will pop up so
its a continuous learning and the thing is, when youre on the job for too
long, people tends to lose their passion and drive. It can be applied on all the
jobs not just in I.T. And there is a saying which I believe, choose a job that
you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.

3. What do you find enjoyable about the job? Difficulties/challenges?

- One thing I enjoy about my job is that it is related to engineering which I love
and I am always updated on the new technologies. And also, good working
environment including being around with professionals. The difficulties of my
job is that since theres always a new technology, you always need to study
and learn all the time and when youre on the job for too long doing things
again and again, its tiring and sometimes its hard to motivate yourself.
Insights:

In the end of the interview we realized many aspects of being a student under the
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Track. First, choose a career
based on what you really what to pursue because at the end of the day it is you
who will make you own path to success. Second, we may face many struggles
along the way, but believing in yourself is the key to mold our bright future. It
may be hard, but if you have a strong mind to succeed, we are able to do anything.
We should never give up on the things we really want to accomplish. We learned
that when you really love your job, it feels like youre not working instead, youre
enjoying and having fun. This inspires and motivates us to pursue what career/job
we really want and never give up on it because in the end, it will be all worth it.
Just like the saying, theres always a rainbow after a rain. So dont give up
easily just because its hard.
