The Awaji Youth Federation (AYF) will be established in Awaji Island, beautiful nature with belief as mythological
and spiritual origin of Japan. We are seeking for fellows with a passion to join this global community, consisted
by youth from different countries, learning and working together to raise leadership.
Fellowship Program Objectives & Features
The AYF provides a creative platform for the young innovators and designers to be united together over
different cultures and backgrounds. By learning about regional revitalization and entrepreneurship and
expressing their skills and specializations together, we aim to find new solutions for global issues.
Fellows will participate in the AYF training program and work for new business projects at the variety of
facilities, operated by Pasona Group.
After completing program, fellows will be possibly eligible for applying jobs at Pasona Group new start-up
ventures or future opportunities either in Japan or abroad.

AYF Training Program Overview:

Participants can choose a desired Fellowship Stream of either entrepreneurship or regional revitalization.
At the beginning of the program, each fellow decides his/her mission and how to work individually and
collectively through the course of 12 months.
At the end of the program, ideas and productions will be presented as results.
 AYF Work Experience:
Fellows will be assigned to the work, based on the field that fellows can express his/her
specializations. (Examples: internationalization for regional revitalization, tourism promotion,
marketing, communications, interpreting and translation, and business development.)
Application Requirements:
Holds bachelors degree
English ability of TOEIC 700 or equivalent level
Academic knowledge or any specializations for Food &
Agriculture, Music, Health & Sports, Animation, Education,
Art, IT, or Tourism
Terms and Conditions:
Status: Contract employee of Pasona Group Inc.
Period: One year from September 1st, 2017
Fellowship hours: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
(Flex Time work)
Location: Awaji Island, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan
Salary: 250,000 yen / month
Social benefits: health insurance, workers compensation coverage, annual leave
Fellowship Fees: 156,000 yen per month will be deducted from above salary for accommodation, utilities,
breakfast, dinner, and tuition fees
Other costs borne by participants: round trip airfare, social insurance, domestic travel expenses,
other living expenses, and income tax
