Advanced Calculations:
1. Cascading Filters: Selecting the values in one filter it will effects in the other filter.
Dependency between the filters, These can be applied to the hierarchical data.
Drawback : difficult to achieve 7th level cascading filtering.
2. Creating a table of contents to navigate to other: It shows how to controls that enable
viewers of Tableau dashboards to navigate easily from one dashboard to another and one
dashboard to other worksheet.
And More!!!!
Advance Charts:
1. Bump Chart: These are used to compare one dimension based on the other dimension.
Bump charts are usually reports the boat race, each boat tries to move front and bump
the other boats.
2. Word Cloud Chart (Text Mark): It represents the text data in the form of tags, by
displaying the tags in the different size and color. The text mark type is useful when we
want to display the numbers associated with one or more dimension members. This
type of view is often called a text table, a cross-tab, or a Pivot Table.
3. Funnel Chart: The text mark type is useful when you want to display the numbers
associated with one or more dimension members. This type of view is often called a
text table, a cross-tab, or a Pivot Table
4. Motion Chart (Using Pages Shelf): The Pages shelf lets you break a view into a series of
pages so you can better analyze how a specific field affects the rest of the data in a
view. The Pages shelf creates a set of pages, with a different view on each page. Each
view is based on a member of the field you placed on the Pages shelf.
5. Advanced Geo Mapping : Plotting Maps based on detailed Latitude, Longitudes, Plot
Order, Polygon Maps.
