More Details

Details

Anti Vibration Rubber when properly chosen provide a cost effective solution to problems involving vibration, shock and
noise control the rubber buffer can be used in shear/compression or both. However, it must be noted that they do not
provide a fail-safe solution.

For fail safe mounts, please refer to the KPR and KMR range of anti-vibration rubber mounts from Polymax.

Available in a large range of sizes, thread lengths and material, the cylindrical vibration damper is a classic all round
solution.

Natural rubber (NR) is a versatile and adaptable material

Temperature Range
characterised by its ability to accept and recover from large
deformations. Unlike steel or other metals it possesses Up to 100C (Intermittant)
some inherent damping characteristics and can store a Down to -25C
larger amount of elastic strain energy per unit volume,
making it an ideal material for use in dampers or as a Recommended temperature
rubber spring. Natural rubber compounds have a high range -25C to +70C
tensile strength, long fatigue life and excellent tear Chemical resistance

Good resistance to water
Natural rubber compounds also exhibit low hysteresis as swell, dilute acids, dilute
