RECOMMENDATIONS
There are few recommendations of this experiment. First of all, please ensure that the screw
set at the agitator shaft is fully tightened before starting the experiment. Besides that, you not
allowed to touch any rotating parts of the apparatus when running the experiment. Then if there is
water leakage you have to switch off the apparatus immediately. Additionally, if you found that
there are water split out from the tank, you need to stop the motor quickly. Also the load cell cannot
be impact. You also do not allowed to change the setting of the digital meter and motor controller.

Objective
To determine the flow pattern of different type of impeller with and without the baffles.
To determine the power consumed by a mixer that varies with speed and the used of
baffles.
To determine the speed characteristic and Power and Reynolds numbers for different types
of impellers.
