verb is and created a web of all the /-ing/ words in the
Bill Martin Jr./Eric Carle books we read. See if your
child can remember any we found!
FYI
Next week is our schools Scholastic Book Fair and
each day is designated as certain teachers lunch
day! Our day is Monday the 30th! If you can, please
come Monday to eat lunch with your child (11:15) and
take them to the book fair afterwards. To help with the
traffic flow, we ask parents to try and come on an
assigned day! If you cannot come on Monday, please
feel free to come on a day that best fits your schedule.
The book fair will be open 7:30-2:30 and parents are
welcome any time.
The children and I worked very hard on completing
each section of the Kindergarten Checklist for the fall
grading period. Because this assessment is given on an
individual basis, it requires a good bit of time. When
your child brings home their October journal, there will
be days marked as Assessment which means that the
checklist was given on those days during our normal
journal time. If you have any questions, please feel free
to contact me at school or home.
Dont forget to set your clocks back
one hour next Saturday night!!!!
NEEDED
If you have not paid the $10 fee for the pumpkin patch
field trip, please do so ASAP. You can send in cash or
check (please make sure to include your childs name,
my name, and what the money is for on the envelope) or
use the www.myschoolbucks.com website.
Make sure to look over the Holiday Meal Reservation
form in todays Friday Folder. You dont want to miss
this special event!

ONE LAST THING
I know that parent conferences are extremely short; 20
minutes is not enough time to talk about your child and
all the growth they have experienced since August. If
you ever have any questions or concerns, please dont
