1. Caracteristici principale
Lemnul ncleiat este un material de constructie de nalta tehnologie, avnd
numeroase avantaje comparativ cu lemnul masiv. Produsele de lemn ncleiat sunt
realizate din mai multe piese de lemn ecarisat (n
mod curent scnduri sau dulapi) asezate, de obicei, orizontal, unele peste altele
si
mbinate prin intermediul unor pelicule de ncleiere, prin presare.
Elementele componente cu latime de maximum 20 cm sunt suprapuse si
ncleiate cu concavitatea inelelor an
uale orientata n sus (fig. 1.1a ) cu exceptia primului
element care este plasat invers.
Dispunerea astfel a elementelor reduce la minimum contractia transversala si
eforturile de ntindere transversala din variatii climaterice care actioneaza
asupra lemnului si n mbinarile ncleiate.

Daca latimea produsului depaseste 20 cm este recomandabil

sa se plaseze doua elemente unul lnga altul cu decalarea rostului de mbinare pe o
distanta de minimum
de 2 ori grosimea elementelor ( fig. 1.1b.).
De asemenea la folosirea unor elemente cu latime mai mare de 20 cm se recomanda
practicarea a doua santuri longitudinale pe toata lungimea e
lementelor componente (fig. 1.1c.).
