presentations were followed by a interactive session on field
failures and diagnostics/root cause analysis. This was followed
by visit to the state-of-the-art Transformer oil testing laboratory of
ERDA (North). Tests for In-service Oil as per IS: 1866, DGA as per
IS: 10593 & Furan as per IEC: 61198 were demonstrated to the
participants. A total of 31 senior officials from DTL, UHBVN,
HPSEB, NPCIL, PGCIL, NHPC, CBIP, IOCL, Tata Power and other
organizations participated in this workshop.
