rhythm and intonation.
Objectives: By the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to:
Listen and Anwers Wh questions regarding ones detail correctly
2. Tr. displays the text and read aloud. Pupil listen and read with tr.
4. Get pupils to say the words aloud while one of the pupils points to the
words.
5. Tr. randomly picks some pupils to spell and write the words on the board.
6. Tr. Asks simple Wh questions and get pupils to answer the questions orally.

pupils will be able to apply knowledge of sounds
of letters to recognize words in linear and non-
linear texts.
LS : 2.1.2 Able to recognize and articulate initial,
medial and the final sounds in single syllable
words within given context: ie, ea
Objective : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able
to:
i) recognize and articulate the phoneme /k/
ii) separate the letters and say the phoneme
individually 3 out of 5 words correctly.

neat legible print including cursive writing.
LS : 3.1.2 (a) Able to copy and write in neat and
legible print:
(a) small (lower case)letters.
(b) words
Objective : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to write five words
correctly.
Activities :
1. Pupils poem.
2. Gets pupils to articulate the phoneme ie, ea.
3. Gets pupils to say the words with the help of picture cards.
4. Pupils write or form the words seen earlier.
5. Trace the words on the activity sheet.
6. Label the pictures correctly.
