pupils will be able to apply knowledge of sounds
of letters to recognize words in linear and non-
linear texts.
LS : 2.1.2 Able to recognize and articulate initial,
medial and the final sounds in single syllable
words within given context: ie, ea
Objective : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able
to:
i) recognize and articulate the phoneme /k/
ii) separate the letters and say the phoneme
individually 3 out of 5 words correctly.

Activities :

Objective : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to write five words
correctly.

Added Value : TMK and Creativity Pupils are able to show the
colourful letters traced in small letters.

Activities :
1. Pupils poem.
2. Gets pupils to articulate the phoneme ie, ea.
3. Gets pupils to say the words with the help of picture cards.
4. Pupils write or form the words seen earlier.
5. Trace the words on the activity sheet.
6. Label the pictures correctly.
