ABSTRACT

Health centre West Sei Kepayang are in malaria-endemic areas where the number of
malaria positive patients in 2015 was 816 cases. Health centre West Sei Kepayang carry out
several activities program, but the program has not run optimally activities. Obstacles in the
activities of the malaria program is a cross-sector cooperation, human resources placement,
and incomplete treatment. Objective: (1) To Know the process for placement of human
resources in the malaria program in Health centre West Sei Kepayang (2) To find out how
the cross-sector cooperation in the fight against malaria in Health centre West Sei Kepayang
(3) Describe Management eradication program of malaria in health centers West Sei
Kepayang. While Hypothesis are: (1) How is the selection or recruitment of health workers in
an effort to management of the eradication program of malaria (2) How is the implementation
of cooperation litas sector in the management of the eradication program of malaria (3) What
is the process of treatment in the management of the eradication program of malaria.

Type of research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach to the number
of informants were 11 informants. The Data was collected by interview, documentation,
observation.

The results of this study indicate that cross-sector cooperation has not gone well, the
number and type of health worker not meet the standards of the Ministry of Health, Process
management of malaria begins with the diagnosis performed by RDT after testing positive for
the types of medicines that is given is the ACT (artemisinin-based combination therapy),
Primakuine, and Kina. Event management programs have been done but the malaria program
of activities has not been effective so that the number of malaria positive patients was still
high at Health centre West Sei Kepayang.

Expected to be more increase West Kepayang Cross-sector cooperation both with the
District, Village, Community School and is also involved, as well as improve the
management activities of the malaria program to be more effective and efficient in PHC Sei
Kepayang west.
