Homework and Agenda: Daily homework :Comptines (Yellow duotang), Phonics


or any other French homework (Red duotang) and Math blue duotang or exercise
book. Please take the time to read your childs agenda, sign it and ensure s/he
brings it back as well as any homework assigned. Reading Plastic Bag is going
home soon and must be returned the next day for classroom Library Book
exchange. Please ensure that your child reads 10 minutes every day in French
on top of daily homework 10-15 mins. School Library Book exchange is on Day
2.

Scholastic monthly orders - French books only - please pay on line for
September and October to the Scholastic website.

Please, ensure that your child has a pair of in-door shoes or boots for
outdoor at school and dress up accordingly to the weather condition.

Our Open House is on Thursday September 28, 2017 between 6:00-6:50pm.


Please note that this is not a Curriculum Night (as the curriculum is
available on the Ministrys web-site at
http://www.edu.gov.on.ca/eng/curriculum/elementary/index.html), nor is it
an opportunity for you to discuss your childs progress. Once we have spent
enough classroom time together, if your child is experiencing significant
difficulty, we will be in touch with you. If you have specific questions about
their progress, please phone or write a note in the agenda, requesting that an
interview be scheduled. (Interviews will already be taking place on November
23rd and 24th, subsequent to your childs Term 1 Progress Report coming home
that same week in November.)
