1. Differentiate the ff: give example for each:


a. Democracy VS Republic
Democracy Rule by the omnipotent majority. In a democracy, an individual, and any
group of individuals composing any minority, have no protection against the unlimited power of
the majority. It is a case of Majority-over-Man.
Example:
Republic A republic is similar to a representative democracy except it has a written
constitution of basic rights that protect the minority from being completely unrepresented or
overridden by the majority.

b. Natural Rights VS Constitutional Rights
Natural Rights rights possessed by every citizen without being granted by the State for
they are given to man by God as a human being created to His image so that he may live a happy
life.
Example:
Constitutional Rights these are rights which are conferred and protected by the
Constitution. Since they are part of the fundamental law, they cannot be modified or taken away
by the law-making body
Example:
c. Political Rights VS Civil Rights
Political Rights rights of the citizens which give the the power to participate, directly
or indirectly, in the establishment or administration of the government.

Example:
Civil Rights hey are those rights which the law will enforce at the instance of private
individuals for the purpose of securing to them the enjoyment of their means of happiness.

d. Warrant of Arrest VS Search Warrant


Warrant of Arrest the written order that commands to arrest a person designated
Search Warrant an order in writing signed by a judge and directed to a peace officer
commanding him to search for certain personal property and bring it before the court.
