TASK 5: CLO2 Planning for Learning - Mathematical resources in the Classroom

Identify at least 4 mathematical resources, skills and concept used, and taught, in the classroom
during teaching practice.

Learning Outcome, Mathematics Skill / Concept (i) Explain the learning activity

Pattern and algebra Students are learning to recognize, read, describe copy and continue a
1pA1 pattern.

in familiar environments

Starter Students will see video its have both side song with games about pattern
to know more and this video have question about what came next o
students should focused to answer. Its important for students to learn
pattern because make students know and engage and know the organize
and the order of pattern also its good for them because help students
coordinate.

Main Activity Emerging: students have a lot of flowers students should cut the flowers
and best it according to the order of colors. This is good practice for them
it will help students strengthen the look at knowledge of repeating pattern
according by colors.

Developing: students will use hand on activities by pot the cups by correct
order according to colors and repeating again by different organize. This
is good for them because help them to work hard and identify the order.

Mastered: students have A3 paper they will work in pairs to create her
own patterns using shapes and pictures. Its good for them because when
they do it they describe it for hear friends and they are very engage
because they have different color, shape and pictures to recognize by
pattern.

Closing In the end each students should open the book in lesson patterns they
will solve tow page with teacher check. This is good for them to
practice more and dont forget.

Number board Teacher provide for them number board to help
them to write numbers 1to 100. Its good way to
have number board because some students
floundering and forget.

Organize numbers with words Students will identify the numbers from 1-100
and the words and match it. Its good for them
because they will take time to order and find the
right numbers with words also its stunning
activity and strengthens memory of the mind.

Students play with daises with different numbers


they throw it and the numbers that appear they
write it in math book. These good way students
are engage to play also its good for them to
remember the numbers.

Shape They have shape with different colors students


use it when they have to count according the
numbers or in pattern lessons they organize it
with same color.
