Caterpillar C27/C32 ACERT Engine
COURSE PURPOSE:
This course has been designed to provide
participants with the knowledge and skills
necessary to test, adjust, troubleshoot and repair
the Caterpillar C27 and C32 ACERT Engines.
Topics covered include EUI features, identifying
components, systems operation, testing, adjusting
and troubleshooting using the Multimeter and
Electronic Technician.
PRE REQUISITES:
Participants should be actively involved in the
maintenance and repair of Caterpillar equipment
and should be familiar with the use of a laptop
computer multimeter.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
On completion of this module, participants will be
able to:
explain the features of C32 ACERT fuel
system;
identify C32 ACERT components and
explain their function;
describe the operation of the C32 ACERT
system;
use Multimeter to test C32 ACERT
sensors, wiring, connectors and evaluate
test results using the appropriate
Service Manual reference information; and
use Electronic Technician to monitor,
perform tests, adjustments, calibrations
and troubleshoot the C32 ACERT system.
