Acelerao histrica, conceitos de movimento e experincias do tempo na contemporaneidade

Carga horria: 60 h

Objetivo: O objetivo da disciplina tematizar fenmenos, vocabulrios e linguagens tericas que permitam refletir
acerca da experincia temporal na sociedade contempornea, mais especificamente sobre a dinmica da acelerao
histrica e seus efeitos sociais, polticos e intelectuais. A partir de determinados eixos temticos, sero discutidas
diferentes perspectivas analticas, entrecruzando reflexes da teoria da histria, da sociologia e da antropologia, assim
como sero trazidos estudos de casos especficos, vinculados a fenmenos do Brasil contemporneo, a serem
analisados conjuntamente em sala.

Contedo temtico:

1. A temporalidade como problema historiogrfico

2. Acelerao histrica e conceitos de movimento na Modernidade
3. Da acelerao "fordista" acelerao "flexvel": a emergncia de novos conceitos de movimento?
4. Diagnsticos do "presente": presentismo, contrao do presente, presente lento, atualismo
5. Acelerao como sistema social
6. Dessincronia e crise de representao poltica
7. Acelerao social e subjetividades contemporneas
8. Slow movement: resistncia e/ou sintoma
9. Dizer/documentar o tempo: literatura, arte e asssincronias
10. A crise das Humanidades e as (in)utilidades do passado disciplinar.
