Expanded Course Outline in Science and Technology 10
Course Code Science 4 Course Title Science and Technology 10 Course Description This course deals with the basic principles concerning science. The first part deals with essential information on physical features of the earth. The main focus is placed on the understanding of science concepts. It includes deeper understanding on the features of the earth, forces and motion, central dogma of molecular science, and laws and principles governing gases. Credits 5 hours per week Course Objective The course have the following general objectives: 1. Provide information concerning the basic laws and principles on science and technology. 2. Gain a clear and depth understanding about the principles underlying Physics and other science fields. 3. Have a deeper understanding how organ systems work together. 4. Derive formulas for a given Physics problem. 5. Determine and understand the concept of evolution and how it started. 6. Have a clear understanding on how organisms reproduce. 7. Determine the natural phenomena that exist on Earth that have scientific explanation. Learning At the end of the school year, the students are expected to: Competencies 1. Define and understand the basic concepts, principles, and terminology of science and technology as well as its different fields. 2. Illustrate how human beings reproduce for survival. 3.
