Mark Calculations
The semester mark will be calculated as follows.
• The best three class tests will be averaged to give your Class Test Mark.
• The semester tests will be averaged to give your Semester Test Mark.
• If your Class Test Mark is higher than your Semester Test Mark, the Semester mark will be
composed from 20% x Class Test Mark + 80% x Semester Test Mark.
• If your Class Test Mark is not higher than your Semester Test Mark, the Semester Mark will
be equal to the Semester Test Mark.
• To gain admission to the exam, the semester mark must be at least 40%.
• The Final Mark will be computed as the average of your Semester Mark and your Exam
Mark.
• To pass the course you must have a Final Mark of at least 50%, and an Exam Mark of at least
40%.
