Genetic Biodiversity:

I think that the learning material will talk about or show about the biodiversity of different
organisms and changes in the DNA when one organism combines with another organism. The
most important ideas are that each species consists of different organisms that they are not
genetically identical. Also, genetic diversity is formed when species combine and form a new off
spring with a new DNA. For each main idea, the question I might be asking is that what will
happen if there will be no genetic diversity? The terms that are not yet clear to me are Genetic
differentiation and Subsequent inbreeding. A summary of what Ive learned about the article is
that species consists different organisms are bred; they reduce fertility and are most likely to
increase susceptibility to diseases. While, there are also combinations of organisms that
successfully make a new offspring, therefore, resulting to genetic diversity.

Genetic Variation:

I think that the learning material will talk about or show about the different DNA sequences
which made us all unique interns of our skin colors and etc. The most important ideas are that
genetic variation results to our uniqueness as a person and that genetic variation is essential in
evolution. For each main idea, the questions I might be asking is that why does variation occur
and what happens if there is no variation when evolved? The term that are not yet clear to me
are single nucleotide polymorphisms. A summary of what Ive learned about the article is that
genetic variation is essential in evolution because it is used to pass down to the next
generation. I also learned that genetic variations determine our uniqueness as persons.
