Once the initial survey is reviewed

Frequency Log information regarding the types of
communication I have with each
family and any parental requests
for additional communication. I
will record information in this log
for the duration of the project.
Throughout the duration of this
Researchers research project, I will also keep a
Journal research journal.
Intended Learning/Purpose
teachers have successfully communicated with
parents. I will also use this literature to better
understand parents needs in terms of
communication from school. Finally, I will use this
literature to better understand the importance of
positive, reciprocal communication between parents
and teachers
The initial survey will be used to find parents
preferred methods of communication. The final
survey will be used to measure parents feelings
about communication experiences during the data
collection period.
This log will provide data including the number of
times I communicate with each family and the types
of communication used. I will use these records to
evaluate if my communication methods have been
successful. I will also use this log to record my
thoughts on the different ways in which I
communicate.
The researchers journal will be used to record my
feelings and thoughts on the progress of the
research project and any insights I develop in the
course of my research.
