 HYBRID RICE MODEL FARM

I. INTRODUCTION/RATIONALE

This part must contain the context of the project, definition/articulation of the problem and
why it is important to implement this project. Please also include the basic data about the model
farm e.g. name of cooperator, cluster address, hybrid variety used, etc.

II. OBJECTIVES

Please include here the information on what the project wants to achieve, including the

III. METHODOLOGY/ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED

Please state here how the project was carried out and why such approach was used. Please

Seedling Preparation

Water Management
Pest and Disease Management
Harvest Management (include the actual grain yield data)

Please dont forget to discuss the result of the Rice Crop Manager (RCM) Recommendation.
Please make sure to discuss the dates of the abovementioned activities as well as other significant
details e.g. fertilizers used, pesticides, ameliorant used, etc. Moreover, please include the quantity
applied for each agricultural input.

Please also discuss the issues and concerns met during the implementation of the program
as well as the solutions and actions made in order to resolve the issues and concerns.

IV. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

Please present here the findings then discuss the trends, differences, and surprising results.
It would be better if you show a graphical presentation of the differences in the yield data of the
different hybrid rice varieties.
