HUBUNGAN PERAN PERAWAT SEBAGAI CAREGIVER DALAM

PEMENUHAN KEBUTUHAN SPIRITUAL DENGAN MOTIVASI
KESEMBUHAN PASIEN RAWAT INAP
(Ruang Bedah Rumah Sakit Tentara dr. Soepaoen Malang)

Latar Belakang: Perawat memiliki beberapa peran yang harus bisa dikuasai, salah
satunya yaitu sebagai caregiver yang harus mampu memenuhi segala kebutuhan pasien
secara holistic, termasuk memenuhi kebutuhan spiritual pasien seperti memfasilitasi
pasien untuk meditasi, solat dan berdoa sesuai dengan kepercayaan yang pasien anut
serta memberikan motivasi kepada pasien. Motivasi kesembuhan dapat muncul dengan
adanya bimbingan spiritual dari orang-orang terdekat maupun dari perawat yang merawat
pasien.

Metode Penelitian: Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian korelasi dengan
pendekatan cross sectional dengan meneliti hubungan peran perawat sebagai caregiver dalam
pemenuhan kebutuhan spiritual dengan motivasi kesembuhan pasien rawat inap di RS
dr. Soepraoen Malang. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Oktober dan Desember 2016
di RS dr. Soepraoen Malang dengan subjek penelitian adalah pasien di ruang rawat inap
bedah Bougenville dan Dahlia (n=36) diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Analisa
data yang dilakukan dengan uji Spearman Rank.

Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa mayoritas pasien menilai perawat memiliki
peran perawat sebagai caregiver dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan spiritual dalam katagori
sedang 58.3 dan mayoritas 66.7 pasien memiliki motivasi yang tinggi Hasil analisis
dengan uji Spearman Rank dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,039 dimana lebih kecil dari
pada = 0,05.

Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan peran perawat sebagai caregiver dalam pemenuhan

kebutuhan spiritual dengan motivasi kesembuhan pasien rawat inap ruang bedah di RS
dr. Soepraoen Malang.

THE CORELATION OF NURSE AS CAREGIVER IN FULFILLING THE
SPIRITUAL NEEDS WITH MOTIVATION HEALING IN PATIENTS
(In Surgical Space Rumah Sakit Tentara dr. Soepraoen Malang)

Background: Nurse have some role should be must able to controlled, one of them are
as caregiver who can fullfil all holistic patient needed, belonging to spiritual needs such
as facilitate patient to mediation, and pray in accordance patient religious, and give
motivation for patient. Motivation healing come with the spiritual guidance from nearest
people as well as nurse who care with the patient.

Methods: The study design used correlation study with cross sectional approach with
studying correlate of nurse as caregiver in fulfilling the spiritual needs with motivation
healing in patiens care dr. Soepraoen Malang Hospital. This research was conducted in
October and Desember 2016 in dr. Soepraoen Malang Hospital with the subject of study
in patients surgical space bougenville and dahlia (n=36) were taken by purposive
sampling technique. The data analysis done by test the Spearmank Rank.

Results: The results of study showed that most of the patients judge nurses has a role
nurse as caregiver in fulfilling spiritual needs in adequate categories 58.3 and majorty
66.7 patient has high motivation. The analysis by teset spearman rank with the
significance value of 0.039 is smaller than at = 0.05

Conclusion: There is a correlate of nurse as caregiver in fulfilling the spiritual needs

with motivation healing in patiens care dr. Soepraoen Malang Hospital.
