Dear All,

I want to set the variant "YYYYYYYYYY" as default for users. How is such a setup done?

There is no possibility to create

the variant centrally and assign
this to all user globally?

dear,

per my understanding, user is able to select/get the variant (and find variant):

but not able to set it as default (say, run COOIS and get all select-options at once)...

regards,

p.s. you would request abaper to create ZCOOIS which will get the default variant but that
is an enhancement (not a standard solution)

Yes users can create variants, but they cannot be called by default,
because SAP has defined a default variant for every transaction
which uses the program PPIO_ENTRY (for example transaction

code COOIS uses SAP&COOIS and COHV uses SAP&HVOM

etc). Create a new transaction code in SE93 and assign the newly
created default layout in SE93,
