Decoding Abstract and Numerical Reasoning Tests
Our tests are designed to assess your Abstract and Numerical reasoning skills. Abstract reasoning looks at your
ability to recognise patterns, spot opportunities and think strategically. Numerical reasoning looks at the way you
work with numbers and data to draw conclusions.

Our tests are adaptive, which means that they change based on the answers you give. If you answer a question
correctly, you are moved to a more difficult question. If you answer a question incorrectly, or fail to answer within
the time limit, you are moved to an easier question. In this way the assessment is able to accurately identify your
ability level.

Our tests are randomised to ensure that it is virtually impossible for any two people, even of the same ability
level, to complete the same test.

Your Result
Your result is reported by being compared to a large database of professionals who have previously taken the
tests. Your results will be reported as a percentile. A percentile is a comparative score for example, for you to
attain 66th percentile, you have scored higher than 66% of other people who have taken the tests.

Abstract Reasoning 90

Abstract Reasoning Maximum time allowed: 15 mins

Taking into consideration the number of questions you answered correctly Time taken
within the time limit, and the difficulty level of the questions, your result
suggests a abstract reasoning ability which is better than 90% of the 12 minutes and 7 seconds
comparison group. This result suggests that you will perform well at tasks
that require you to understand complex numerical information and interpret longer than that taken by most other
numerical data. people

Next steps
If your result meets the requirements of the business area you have applied to, then you will be invited to the
next stage of our assessment process, a Video Interview. The instructions for the Video Interview will be emailed
to you separately.
