The Holy Cross Prayer

A sacred Prayer

Oh! Adorable Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ

Who has died on the Cross for us.
Oh Holy Cross of Jesus guide my thoughts
O Holy Cross of Jesus ward my thoughts
Oh Holy Cross of Christ ward off from me all dangers.
Oh Holy Cross of Christ deliver me from a dangerous and sudden
death, And protect me always.
Jesus of Nazareth who died on the Cross
Have mercy on me and save me from all my enemies forever.
AMEN.

In honour of Our Lord Jesus Christ and sacred passion and death,
His Holy resurrection and His passing heaven by which He opened
the gates of heaven.
I believe that Jesus was born on Christmas day in a Stable
That he died to redeem us.
That he arose from the dead by his own power and ascended into
Heaven.
We are told that He was protected from all evils of the Body and of
Soul.
I therefore offer myself to you.

Oh my Lord Jesus Oh Blessed Mary and Joseph pray for us.

Through the intercession of Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea,
who took down the Body of Jesus from the Cross and buried it.
Oh Lord Jesus through thy terrible suffering,
Through thy Cross, Passion and Death on the Cross,
Have mercy on me
Whenever you desire to call me away from this life and worthless
world.
Oh Lord Jesus Christ give thy grace to bear my cross patiently as you
bore yours
And save me and protect me from all evils and temptations now and
forever
AMEN.

smiles. The exhausted eyes are full of gentleness. The expression is

Veronica's are found in those who tend lepers, comfort the dying,
serve the poor and those who befriend the friendless and dying.

Let us Pray
