country: (causes of the social issue in your country)
There is variety of social issues in Afghanistan, such as poverty, interethnic strife,
inequality of women, and widespread thievery, kidnapping, and banditry. The biggest
issue is inequality of women. Also the use of various illegal drugs like heroine. There
is a war between America and al-Qaeda, the terrorist. America punished the terrorist,
overthrow the Taliban and create a democratic state in Afghanistan. Child abuse in
Afghanistan, Young boys are often sold off to or kidnap by older men to be use as
prostitute. It was common in army and police force. The causes of this problem is
disease and some part of natural disaster. This can effect in decreasing in growth of
population and economic.

country (post 1945): (effects of the social issue in your country current situation)
1. Corruption was and still is one of the major problem in Afghanistan.

2. Lots of Citizens are addicted to the illegal drug like Opium. Opium alone made up 15% of
Afghanistans GDP.

Brief summary of what your countrys government has done to deal with the social issue
(based on the MDG selected): (p
olicies in place and progress in dealing with the problem)

Corruption - Many Afghan officials have been responsible for taking money from digital bank
and using it for fraudulent lending purpose. As the result, the Kabul Bank had been deprived
of 935 millions Dollar.

Child abuse - Govern decided to detent children instead of punish adult who did wrong. We
are questioning how the extensive international aid now provided to Afghanistans armed
forces may unwittingly be funding the use of child soldiers, and how that assistance could be
used instead to end the practice. Through field work and advocacy, we will be trying to ensure
that children are prevented from joining the ranks, and that the adults who recruit them are
held accountable.
