University of Makassar.

This research aims to The corelation of school literacy moevment with student reading
interest in SDN Komp. IKIP I Makassar City. The research approach used a quantitative
approach with the kind of research correlational. The population in this study are students in
4 A and 4 B grade SDN Kompleks IKIP I Makassar City which amounted to 94 students.
Sampel of the research are students at 4 grade which amounted to 47 students by using
simple random sampling. Data collection techniques used in this study i.e. the question form
and documentation. The data collected from the giving of a questioner about of school
literacy movement with student reading interest then analyzed statistically using descriptive
and statistical inferensial test of normality test. The testing of hypotheses of product moment
correlation with SPSS 20 show that coefficient of correlation was obtained 0,370 the
correlation indicates that there are positive relationship between movement of school literacy
movement with student reading interest in SDN Kompleks IKIP I Makassar City.
