Protective Equipment Usage Attitude with Occupational Accident in The Workplace
Among The Batik knife craftsmen Krengseng In Bangunjiwo Village Bantul

ABSTRACT
This research has objective to identify relations Occupational Safety and Health
(OSH) knowledge and the personal protective Equipment (PPE) usage attitude with
occupational accident in the workplace among a craftsman a batik knife Krengseng. This
study using quantitative research study to a draft cut of latitude. The subject of research at 31
workers. A kind of the analysis used in this research was univariat, bivariat, multivariate with
correlation analysis pearson products moment and the linear regression.
The research shows the significant correlation between OSH and PPE usage attitude
with occupational accident in the workplace, where knowledge OSH contributes to 16% and
PPE usage the attitude of the use of self contributed 22% against accidents at work. Relations
in this research also showed significant correlation between knowledge of OSH contributes
5% and the relationship between knowledge on OSH and PPE ) usage attitude with
occupational accident in the workplace gives 35,6 % contribution.
