Terms & Conditions

Acceptance of any order by Uber Project Lighting Private limited (UPLPL) is expressly made conditional on Buyer's assent to the terms and conditions set forth herein.

1. Price & Taxes

1.1. All prices and discounts (or concessions) given in the quotation are part of a package offer and purchase of same products at a later date will not be eligible for similar discounts or concessions.
1.2. VAT, Service Tax and other taxes and duties that may be applicable shall be added to the Price except when they are expressly included in the Price.
1.3. Unless otherwise stated in the order all prices are ex-stock Hyderabad and the price quoted does not include freight or other delivery charges. All additional charges to be charged to the buyer.

2. Payment, Delivery & Service Terms:

2.1. Payment Terms:
* Payment Terms : For Automation ,surveillance& Audio, 50% advance along with purchase order, 40% against delivery and 10%after commission
* For TRU TOUCh INTERACTIVE DISPLAY 100% in advance
* Validity: 18 month from the supply & 24 months from the installation

3. Our Responsibility (Sellers Responsibility)

3.1. We will ensure that all materials UPLPL comply with safe building practices and are free from defects and that any work carried out is carried out with reasonable care and skill and to a reasonable standard.
3.2. Before starting any work we will carry out an inspection to make sure that all work quoted is appropriate and practicable.
3.3. If after our inspection any further work is necessary either because of alterations in design, specification or otherwise and this causes an increase in costs we will send you a further proposal giving details of the extra costs and will only proceed with the works once
your written acceptance has been received.
3.4. Subject to paragraphs 3.2 and 3.3 we will carry out the work in accordance with our proposal.
3.5. Our execution engineer will have regular visit to the site as per the visit schedule submitted or as agreed on previous visit.
3.6. Installation & Execution: Subject to the availability of the site, the installation and commissioning of products at your site will be completed within a period of 4-6 weeks (or as specified otherwise) from the date of site handover to UPLPL for installation.

4. Your Responsibility (Buyers Responsibility)

4.1. You will permit us during normal working hours to carry out an inspection and thereafter to undertake the works according to the schedule agreed upon.
4.2. You will remove all items necessary to allow us to commence the works and cover and protect all fixtures and fittings, which cannot be removed.
4.3. You will obtain all permissions and consents, (including if necessary planning permission) from landlords, Builders and others, which are required before the work can commence.
4.4. Where you are required to provide us with measurements or other information regarding third party equipment to be controlled from our devices, such measurements or information must be correct. If we rely on the measurements or information given when
preparing our proposal and such measurements or information are incorrect we reserve the right to increase the price to make good any errors or additional works required as a result.
4.5. The installation site and the entire electrical & electronic equipment proposed has to be protected from any surges arising due to over voltage by providing necessary Voltage Stabilizers and UPS as recommended. (This is under the scope of Client.)
4.6. Installation will begin only after all light fixtures are fixed and checked by electrical contractor and Voltage Stabilizers and UPS system as recommended is installed.
4.7. An additional resource (electrician & carpenter) is to be provided by the client during the period of installation for miscellaneous work at the site like
- Carpenter for fixing sensors/electronic locks/VDP's in window frame/door frame etc
4.8. All Carpentry, Civil & Electrical work is to be done by the clients Contractors. All Conducting and Cable laying works for cabling to be done by Client's Contractors.

4.9. Additional accessories like Mounting Racks, Distribution Boards, Cable & Wires, MCBs, Wall Boxes ubder the scope of the client unless specified in the work order/quotation. Necessary technical detail will be provided for Cable type/ DB size/ Rack Size/ MCB's etc
4.10. The Lighting Automation programming will begin only after all the light fixtures are fixed by the electrician. Any programming work that is sought before all light fixtures are fixed will be an additional charge to the client.
4.11. All lighting fixtures to be installed at the site need to be approved by UPLPL before the fixtures are mounted.
4.12. Once the lighting system is installed the type of light (or) load of light fixture should never be changed without prior approval from UPLPL, any failure of equipment due to change of lights will be directly charged to the client.
4.13. All equipment is to be protected from water leakages, high humidity & abnormally high temperatures. It is the responsibility of the client to take a clearance from UPLPL before installing other systems that could enable such adverse conditions near any of the
equipment sUPLPLied by UPLPL.

4.14. UPLPL Does not take the responsibility of any damage of its equipment due to other painting, carpentry, drilling and other civil works at the site. Once the product of delivered at the site, the safe keeping of all automation equipment is the responsibility of the client.

5. Outstation (i.e. outside Hyderabad):

5.1. All travel & lodging cost incurred by our site engineers will be charged to the client
5.2. All freight & courier charges from Hyderabad to site will be charged to the client

6. Warranty & Service

6.1. All Warranties & Guaranties will remain as per Equipment Manufacturers Terms & Conditions.
6.2. UPLPL will provide free service for the first one year after installation. Any service beyond this time is chargeable to the buyer on a per day basis. (Note: This does not include replacement of products out of warranty)
6.3. For continued service beyond the first year after Installation UPLPL offers Annual Maintenance Contracts which can be purchased separately.
