Workshops and conferences have become a pedestal to showcase ones expertise and proficiency in surgical skills especially related

to laparoscopic surgery. The ego kick is unmistakable, garnered by performing intricate and highly advanced procedures in front of a

large crowd .But from the point of view of the target audience, does it really make any difference in their learning and take back from

the workshop! Because 90% of the target audience is the basic laparoscopic surgeon and post graduates. These delegates are more

interested in seeing the variety in surgical presentation of common every day diseases and the variations in the surgical approaches

for tackling them. These are the procedures, which they are or would be doing in future. That is true learning for them. The

demonstration of advanced procedures should be reserved for different forums meant only for the advanced laparoscopic surgeons.

We have thus reverted back and would be focusing on the basics, the ubiquitous gallbladder, the poor appendix, the inguinal hernias,

the hepatic hydatids, uretric stone and the likes.These are the diseases encountered at all levels and by the majority of surgeons.The

procedures would be performed by experts and the variation in their surgical techniques would be there for you to see.

We invite you to this meet for this reason and also to show you how easy it is to perform these procedures through the single incision

option with the available instruments.
