One of the most important aspect of an organization is team work, without it most of the
work in a company will not be done. The main focus of a team is to achieve a common goal,
for a company to be more efficient organizations must focus on building collaborative teams.
A team must be diverse, competent, and highly skilled, there research concluded that two
two teams which are same in every aspect may not have the same performance in a
collaborative environment because the only those teams will collaborate easily which
recognize themselves as alike. This article shows the 8 most effective ways to build

Executives can help collaborative efforts by investing in projects that promote communication
among teams.

Companies where senior executives exhibit collaborative behaviour, there teams are inclines
to be more collaborative, so top management should lead by example to make teams more
collaborative and derive most benefits from there teams.

Mentoring & Coaching at some kind of out of work informal basis for network building
Ensuring the requisite skills
HR department arranging training and teaching sessions to build relationships, resolve conflict
communication etc., this helps teams in the organization to collaborate easily.

Debate is whether leader should be task or relationship, but I believe that a team leader will
only be successful and effective only if he has both these aspects task and relationship go hand

Role clarity and task ambiguity.
Without task clarity everything will be ambiguous and no will work because there will be no
