Material class: For general service: AA, BB, CC

For sour service: DD, EE, FF, HH, ZZ

Material: 36K, 45K, 60K,75K

PSL (Product specification level): for general service: 1 & for sour service: 2, 3, 3G (gas testing), 4

(for PSL4 casting is not permitted)

PR (Performance requirement): 1, 2(for safety valve)

Stress levels need to be check

Requirements and tests Material designation: 36K, 45K, 60K, 75K (tensile, elongation, yield,
area reduction)

Tensile test

Impact test
Processing (casting, hot working, melting)

Heat treating (temperature, quenching)

Chemical composition (material mass fraction)

Hardness

**There are quality requirement and equipment specification for body & bonnet material, welding
parts, gasket rings, stem, valve bore sealing mechanisms, choke trim, studs and nuts, all kind of
valves, Christmas tree, hangers, bullplug and valve removal pressure

Design specifications

Flange: 6B, 6BX, dual segmented (there are tables for flange dimension)

Gasket: R-RX, BX (dimension of ring groove and gasket ring is accessible)

Thread: length form ISO 10422 and Table 48

Internal and external thread from ASME B1.20.1

Stud and nuts (bolting)

Valves dimension: Face to Face & Bore is required (have been seen when the pressure goes up there
is some smaller size capable)

Casing and tubing head (size from 7-1/16 to 21-1/4): full opening, reduced opening, increased
opening (with wear bushing & packing) (bore table is required and flange like before)

Casing and tubing hanger (size from 7-1/16 to 21-1/4 and pressure from 2000 to 15000): Group 1 to 5
(different from sealing), 2 kinds of hanger are required: 1-slip hanger 2-mandrel hanger (out side
diameter and working pressure rate are in tables)

Tubing head adaptor: this part can be merged with Master valve

Group1: tubing head adaptor seal the wellbore from annulus (performance
requirements)

Group2: tubing head adaptor seal the wellbore from annulus and suspend the tubing

Choke: Positive (fixed orifice without stem) end connections: equal rated working

Adjusted (variable orifice with stem) different rated working

Disc type (tear drop, half moon) (Size 1, 2, ?)

Trim types: needle and seat - plug and cage external sleeve multistage positive bean

If needed noise calculation confirm to IEC 60534-8-3

Tee and Crosses: studded (smaller center to face)

Flanged (bore size and center to face dim)

Test & Gauge connection for 15000, 20000: (the lower pressure is different in 4.4.4 part)

Type I, II ,III connection

Fluid sampling devise: shall be design for material classes CC, FF, HH

Cross over connectors: (dimensions are like casing head & tubing head)

Adaptor (different end size) & spacer spool (same end size)

Actuator: hydraulic, pneumatic, electric power which are 2 type single acting & double acting

Surface and under water safety valve (SSV & USV)

BullPlugs and valve removal plug (there is dimension and requirement)

**There are some performance requirements for all above

* in MCM catalogue hydraulic valves have lower stem.

* in Cameron catalogue FLS-S type is like FLS except having 2 slab gates in the same valve cavity allows the flow line seal test to be performed simultaneously in both flow direction.

* in Cameron catalogue M Row-R-seal & M-HT have expanding gate design with material class to FF and PSL 1, 2 and eliminate turbulence and pressure drop
