ICU nurse

Critical care nurses:

are provided for neediest patients/medical emergencies.

Provide the highest level of care in a timely fashion.
Handle patients with life threatening illnesses.
Work in intensive care units in healthcare facilities.
Must offer humane care for their patients.
Job responsibilities:

Monitoring the care that patients receive.

Interceding for patients in situations that require action immediately.
Job requirements:

Bachelors degree in nursing.

Masters degree is a plus.
2 years of experience working with critically ill patient.
Salary:

$68.111 annually.
Tasks:

Record patients vital signs.

Record urine output.
Give medication (oral. IV, CVP).
Suction of secretion.
Cannula.
Change dressing if operative patient.
Change patients position if comatosed patient.
Taking samples
Documentation of look.
Discussion with and assistance to physician.
Answer patients family questions.
Washing hands.
Shift switch between nurses and full patients data discussion.
Preparing patients bed & Patients hygiene care.
