You should never ask God to do what He has said Hes already done, and you
should never ask God to do what He has told you to do.

The purpose of a Spirit filled life is to demonstrate the supernatural power of

our living God so that the unsaved multitudes will abandon their dead gods to
call upon the name of The Lord and be delivered.

Ministry is pretty simple. Love people and help them.

Both sin and sickness came into the world through the fall of the human race.
Therefore, we must look for the healing of both in the Savior of the human
race. God is as willing to heal believers as He is to forgive unbelievers. Know
this; if He was merciful enough to forgive you when you were unconverted, He
is merciful enough to heal you now that you are in His family!

How can we call ourselves a church and not believe in healing and in
miracles? I cannot read four pages anywhere in the Bible without encountering
miracles! And the God of the bible is the same today!

The gospel of the kingdom must be preached with evidence; it must be

preached as a witness.

Speaking in tongues is not enough. If we turn men from unchristian religions to

Christianity we must produce miracles which convince men that Christ lives
and He is real today.

Only the power of the living Christ proclaimed in demonstration of the Holy
Spirit, can meet the urgent needs of humanity.

Christians need never be sick, any more than they need to be sinful. It is
always God's desire to heal you.

The church doesn't need more power. The church needs more gospel.
Quotes by Leonard Ravenhill

My main ambition in life is to be on the devil's most wanted list.

If Jesus had preached the same message that ministers teach today, He
would never have been crucified.

Are the things you are living for worth Christ dying for?

Quotes by John G. Lake

The gospel of Jesus Christ is as simple as can be. As God lived in the body
and operated through the man Jesus, so the man on the throne, Jesus,
operates through His body, the church, in the world. Even as Jesus Himself
was the representative of God the Father, so also the church is the
representative of Christ. As Jesus yielded Himself unto all righteousness, so
the church should yield herself to do the will of Christ.

By the God within we cast out or expel from the being that which is not God-
like. If you find within your heart a thought of sin or selfishness, by the
exercise of the spirit of God within you, you cast that thing out as unworthy of
a child of God, and you put it away from you.

It is not only in the Christian's spirit that he needs to be rid of sin, nor only in
his soul he is to be pure. It is God in the body that the individual needs for a
well body. It is just God that he needs.

Now the Spirit of God radiates from the Christian's person because of the
indwelling Holy Ghost, and makes him impregnable to any touch or contact of
evil forces. He is the subjective force Himself, the Spirit of God radiates from
him as long as his faith in God is active. The reason people become sick is the
same reason they become sinful. They surrender to the suggestion of the
thing that is evil, and it takes possession of the heart. Sickness is just the
same. There is no difference. The suggestion of oppression is presented, and
becoming frightened, the disease secures a foothold. The believer says, "In
the name of Jesus Christ I refuse to have this thing."
My God and Father, in Jesus Name I come to thee. Take me as I am. Make
me what I ought to be, in spirit, in soul, in body. Give me power to do right, if I
have wronged any, to repent, to confess, to restore, no matter what it costs.
Wash me in the blood of Jesus, that I may now become thy child, and
manifest thee, in a perfect spirit, a holy mind, a sickless body. Amen. - Prayer
of Consecration by John G. Lake
